Meet Rev. Mary Ann Pickard
Rev. Mary Ann Pickard is our senior pastor, bringing with her a passion for serving others and a deep commitment to her faith. Born into a long line of Methodist ministers, Mary Ann has always been drawn to the United Methodist Church.
With a Master of Divinity degree from Candler School of Theology, Mary Ann has spent years volunteering with homeless outreach missions, singing in the Chancel Choir, and co-leading covenant groups. She served as a chaplain at a large homeless shelter and worked with an interfaith immigrant rights organization before being appointed to our church.
Mary Ann’s experience as a pastor includes serving two-point churches in both Georgia and California, and she has also completed a year-long chaplain residency program. Currently, she serves as the pastor of Wayside United Methodist Church and as a hospice chaplain with Providence’s Trinity Care Hospice in the South Bay.
