Serving Our Community
The Broken Loaf Food Pantry is our church’s largest community outreach program, serving an average of 70 families per week. We provide food and clothing to those in need, with no pre-qualifications or forms to fill out.
Our Mission
We strive to serve our clients with dignity and respect, just as we would want for ourselves. As Jesus taught us, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat…Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25)
How You Can Help
We rely on volunteers to help us serve our clients every week. Here are some ways you can get involved:
- Food Preparation: Help us prepare food on Friday mornings from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Stocking the Shelves: Assist with stocking the shelves on Friday mornings from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. to get ready for Saturday’s service.
- Serving Clients: Help us serve clients on Saturday mornings from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Other Ways to Support
You can also support the Broken Loaf Food Pantry by donating food and clothing during office hours (9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.).
